To that, Mr. Edwin V. Lacy, I would add the following comment:

When this person upgraded to a wooden instrument after 23 years!!!, what was the
mechanical condition and degree of regulation of that old plastic clarinet?
Sure, "WOW what a difference!" would be anyone's reaction if the 23 year old
instrument was in a world of hurt.

You and I know that Fox and Loree are producing superb instruments with plastic
bodies. I look forward to a time when a clarinet maker will give his all using
plastic as the body material. A lot of the debate about wood vs. plastic will be
answered at that time.
