I'm sure lots of people on the list know this, but just in case - lots of
these clarinets are on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in
Manhattan. I saw them last spring and they're amazing! The museum has a
huge section of nothing but old and older instruments - everything from
porcelain flutes to harpsichords to strings of every size, shape and
description imaginable. If you're in New York, do go to see them - you
won't regret it.
