Subj: [kl] Bay Area Tech needed (Leblanc probs)
Date: Sat, 6 Nov 1999 17:29:19 -0500

Greetings,

My Leblanc is suffering from the "anemic B" sound
(B over break). I think the key(s) are already bent, and
the horn is only 2 years old. I need a referral for a
clarinet tech in the Bay area who understands this
problem well and won't clean out my pocketbook.

Part of the problem is that the corking is really tight
on the horn, and even after 2 years, even after loads of
cork grease, the bell still doesn't apply with ease.
All that twisting and shouting has taken its toll I guess.

Also this Leblanc has a chronic sharpie problem.
Everyone say's I'm sharp even when my joints are
fully extended and I can't pull out any more.
I am loathe to get a new barrel but have no other
ideas about how to solve this problem (cheaply).
The model is Leblanc Esprit.

Thanks in advance.
