Tom,
I got a kick out of this- I personally extend the lives of reeds through artificial means- putting them under the knife.
Do those playing Howarths have any custom mouthpieces and/or barrels that work well with those instruments? I have a Fobes MP & barrel for my buffet and can use the mouthpiece but the barrel doesn't fit. I'm also wondering who makes Howarth's mouthpieces- I was pleasantly surprised. Of course, If there isn't a ready answer I could always e-mail them.....
Best Wishes,
Anne
