I agree with Ed. Tony, how can you say that using "the most standard of
standards" for Auditions is silly???
On almost every instrument that Mozart wrote a Concerto for uses the Mozart
Concerto as the first of test pieces for Auditions (Pro). I look at the
Mozart Concerto as a clear piece of glass- any deformities are immediately
noticed.
Tony, I know you're brilliant, so I'm expecting you to spike the ball on
this one :)
