chronic strain may be occurring,, rest, ice, using splints and an analysis of
your hand position such that it is in a natural position without undo
strain.. wearing a splint at night will give you 8 (or so) hours of rest,
using straps to take the weight off your thumb,, and finally you may have
some arthritis in the joint which is causing chronic pain esp 3-5 years after
an injury.Advil, Motrin and ice therapy
