successfully on clarinet. I find double tonguing on the recorder and flute
very easy, on the oboe and bassoon not too much of a problem, on the
saxophone very difficut, and on the clarinet, nearly impossible. I'm not
sure why this is the case. Now, if I could just learn to move my fingers
fast enough to match the tonguing, I would be in good shape! ;-) Ed Lacy

It took me quite a while to get good at double tonguing. Finally, Charlie
Neidich was the one who got me to get it right, and easily (I'm talking
about standard Double Tonguing). I wonder how many, or what percentage of
Professional Clarinetists can double tongue? Is it %70, or more like 10%??
The Navy Band (Washington) has only 1-2 players who can. That surprises me.
