double tongue it It's too bad that someone didn't have a heart-to-heart
talk with Tchaikovsky about his woodwind writing. He also wrote bassoon
parts that were tutti with strings, particularly cello, that just rip along
at two hundred miles an hour. I'm sure there are some players out there who
can play this stuff, but it ain't me!

Mendelssohn should be in the room also ;)
Ya know the worst of it is that a lot of really hard stuff is so buried by
other voices, that all of that hard work, is often not even heard at all.

Dear Neil,
Thanks for your advice. It is appreciated. But before I go driving with =
a new soother or dummy stuck in my mouth I would just like to clarify =
something. Are you speaking from experience and so found beneficial =
effects or is it a brilliant theoretical system that you believe should =
help? You didn't change your email address to 'act_dumb' just recently =
did you?
Regards, Vincent.
