My husband and I just played two performances of Andrew Lloyd Webber's
"Requiem". The performances were in the castle church here in the town we
live in in Germany. My husband played 1st clarinet: Bb and Eb part and I
played 2nd: Bb and bass. There is one little section for A clarinet but I
can't imagine anyone bringing an A clarinet to play the one note. It's
one note about 20 times but it's only one note. The Requiem has very
strange instumentation. There are no violins, but uses all the other
strings. It was a lot of fun. Has anyone else performed this?
