Hi, all..........

The music store where I teach seems to be a magnet for obscure instruments!

A gent wanting to sell a "Deluxe" clarinet came in yesterday. No serial
number, no other markings other than "Deluxe" on the top of the top joint.
It's plastic and was in a small, student model gray blue-lined case. Based
on what he knew of it, appears to be 20 - 30 years old. I could not play it
because of a missing pad high in the top joint.

Can anyone out there shed some light on this beast?
