That has been tried in many cases. It ends up with all the people who could
possibly help on the advanced list, and either no one joins the beginners
list or the advice on the beginners list ends up being given by people who
know even less than the questioner.

We do have a moderated list available to keep the traffic down and the
questions more towards the clarinet (donax-m@-----.com), but there's been
almost no traffic on that list. It'll remain an alternate route.
