Another little thing my son found out with Karl's help on Finale 2000 on the iMac. Finale 2000 on the iMac defaults to an external synth, not internal. For someone who's not familiar with internal/external synths, it may not be obvious that it has to be set to internal to get the iMac to reproduce sounds (albeit not very _good_ sounds from those tiny speakers).

At least it wasn't obvious to my son ...
