No, but usually you can give the cook a constructive criticism like, oh the
carrots were overcooked, they were too soggy. Maybe he can improve on it in
the future... With booing nothing constructive comes out of it. Also, the
situation with the cook is a more personal one-on-one thing (maybe the
waiter is involved too). With a performance, there is a big crowd of people
involved and it certainly lends itself towards more embarrassment for the
performer.
