Just as a funny/unusual aside...

This past Friday I went to hear my teacher in the Knoxville Sym.
Orch. & he told me (after the show) that his horn had cracked (badly)
right before the show & that he found it when he was onstage
warming up for the show & a member of the orch. administration
had to go to his house & pick up his spare.

Then I'm subbing with the group this evening & the guy who usually
plays 2nd (I'm playing his normal part) tells me that his horn
cracked after he got home from that same show!

Kinda scary.
