The M14 is a very easy blowing mouthpiece. I found it to be well focused and
it articulates easily. You'd probably be comfortable with a V12 #4 or its
equivalent in the reed of your choice. A long, close facing like this does
not require you to play on stuffy, too stiff, dull and unresponsive reeds.
The #4's play very well on M13, M13Lyre and M14 as well as a Gigliotti P,
which all have very similar facings.
