I am pretty sure Carl Fischer at one time IMPORTED Buffet clarinets, but I
thought they just ADDED their name to the already existing Buffet
trademark. This one has no other marks, not even a serial number. Maybe
the lack of a register tube, due to the wrap-around register key, helps the
intonation? But if so, why did that feature die out?
