Ah, the DOWNSIDE of mail order! Your local dealer has to deal with you
face to face, but you are just a number to the big guys. We had a cracked
Selmer Omega come in last week - actually, the player had not even noticed
(or paid attention to) the cracks in BOTH the upper joint and barrel joint.
I pointed them out to her! We called Selmer, who said they would send a
return authorization to ship it back to the factory for replacement/repair.
We gave her a loaner to use in the meantime.
