Au contraire! While risks may not be taken in recording, in order to
insure a relatively "clean" performance, there is all the more incentive to
TAKE the risks in live, unrecorded performance. If it fails to come off,
fine. It disappears in the ether and is gone. If it works, the audience
will be thrilled.
