Yeah I have heard of it. I have a recording of it. It was recorded by
Michael Edwards, clarinet and Timothy Bach, Piano. Bruno Bjelinski was=20
born
in Trieste in 1909. He studied at the Zagreb Conservatory. He has written
operas, symphonies, concertos for clarinet, flute, oboe, cello, viola,=20
and
viola. He also wrote chamber music that includes clarinet. I got this=20
info
from the insert in the CD. The label is crystal records and their phone
number is 360-834-7022 if you want to call them and order this recording.
The number is CD735. Best of luck.
Since Erin Bray asked about Bjelinski this makes me think about the
clarinet sonata by Paul Ladmirault. He was a French composer. I tried to
order this piece because I liked it and I was told it was out of print.
That
is what Ebel Music in Iowa told me. I think the publisher is Alphonse
Leduc.
I hope that someone can help me locate a copy of this piece. I would like
to
play it on a recital. Thanks
