You're right. I have to train my muscles like lifting weights. They both
have something in common. After missing one year of band two years ago,
it can relax my muscles a little. Fortunately, last year the band was
introduced into my school. I joined, and came the principal chair. My
chops was worse then it was now. Some improvement I guess. However there
are those days in which I get into tiring chop situations. Since being
principal most of the time I have the solo part, which is different from
the rest of the clarinet section, and the band. Unfortunately I cannot
always stop to let the other play, or else there will be a hole in the
band. Fortunately, band directors are forgiving to this.(^_^)
