Friends and colleagues:

I would like to make an announcement about an upcoming recital I will be
playing.

Thursday, October 21, 1999
Arnold Schoenberg Institute
University of Southern California
8:00 PM--Admission is free (parking, unfortunately is not)

Program:

Robert Schumann- Romances
Howard Yermish- Praeludium for solo clarinet (world premiere)
Arthur Benjamin- Le Tombeau de Ravel
Roberto Sierra- Cinco Bocettos for solo clarinet
Eugene Bozza- Ballade for Bass Clarinet and piano

I'd love to have anybody there that could make it. The Yermish piece is a
fantastic new work for clarinet. It is not easy, but works quite well for
the instrument. To find out more about him, visit his website at
