Krouse Concerto for Bass Clarinet and Orchestra. Was written for J. Lawrie
Bloom of the Chicago Symphony. A great work, but very difficult. As for the
volume, Bass clarinet should project every bit as well as any other
clarinet. No microphone should be needed. --Ben

That piece is basically the Corigilano Concerto for Bass Clarinet. A true
Lawrie Bloom piece. Wish it were recorded (I do have the broadcast tape).
