Ian Krouse Concerto for Bass Clarinet and Orchestra. Was written for J.
Lawrie Bloom of the Chicago Symphony. A great work, but very difficult.

As for the volume, Bass clarinet should project every bit as well as any
other clarinet. No microphone should be needed.
