I don't know if it's generally available as sheet music, but Thea
Musgrave has a Sonata for bass clarinet and orchestra. And Giora
Feidman has a spectacular performance of Bloch's "Schlomo"--it was
originally a rhapsody for cello but someone(?) has adapted the cello
line so it can be played on the bass. It's magnificent: but I don't
know if you can play it right off the cello sheet music, or whether it
needs to be adapted/transposed in some way.
