I too have found this thread very interesting. I think most people
respect BG as being truly, The King of Swing. So his classical playing
wasn't the greatest. So what. I think it is almost like comparing apples
to oranges. Again, so what. It could have been worse. Have you ever
heard Al Hirt play the Haydn Eb Trumpet Concerto? Now that's a sad one!
