Dear Michael

In my possessio are several concertoes by Stamitz, both in sheet music =
and on cd. I possess the Schirmer edition you mentioned, but only in =
print, it is from 1968. The other one, played by Sabine Meyer, probably =
is the concerto first published by Edition Sikorsky in 1953, according =
to the movement indications.

The funny thing is, I have a recording, also from Sabine Meyer with the =
Academy of Saint-Martin-in-the-Fields, conducted by Iona Brown, on which =
also a number 7 concerto in E-flat is played, that is neither of these =
two! The cd is an EMI Classics, no number, the recording date is between =
February 23 and 25, 1995. It also none of the other works by Stamitz in =
my possession. Maybe someone on this list can make clear, how the =
numbering of the concertoes should be? TIA
