Oh dear! I think I may be heading for a load of trouble

The Concerto in E flat by Karl Stamitz recorded by Sabine Meyer
is Boese No 9 and was published by Sikorski in 1953
(edition # 255). The manuscript is in the Furstlich
Thurn und Taxissche Hofbibliothek at Regensburg,
Shelfmark Ms 36

The concerto is scored for 2fl 2hn strings
The movements are Allegro - Aria (Andante moderato) - Rondo alla scherzo
The last two movements were adapted from Stamitz's Concerto for viola
d'amore

The incipit I have for Boese No 11 is different!!

Reference:
John Newhill "The Contribution of the Mannheim School to Clarinet
Literature"
The Music Review, May 1979, page 107. Incipit Ex 28.
Worth seeking out.

The problem is compounded by the recording by Karl Schlechta
on Arte Nova 74321 30476 (1995) which also gives the Concerto the number 11
The CD is part of a German 5 CD set on the Mannheim School Clarinet
Concertos
- maybe available separately

Hans Rudolf Stalder avoids this issue by not assigning a number to this
concerto on his recording
for Koch Schwann Musica Mundi CD 316 008 issued in 1988
(It appeared as 2 LPs before this: VMS 2012 (1967) and VMS 815 (1970))
