There is more than one "modern" recording of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue
with the composer playing the solo part. It's actually an orchestra
following a player piano, whose roll was "punched" by the composer. (Or in
this case, de-composer!)

Does this strike anyone else as really, really weird?

Kevin......a word about technology.....

Often, if it can be done, it IS done....only after do we wonder why........

"Let me get this straight, you're breeding RAPTORS???????"

Maybe someday we can clone Mr. Gershwin's DNA, distribute over the internet
like a virus, so you can download it, and infect yourself with it the night
before you have to play "Rhapsody in Blue".

Even better, a Gershwin/Goodman DNA cocktail. (Mr. gtgallant, I'm sure would
decline)

Ok, OK....... I'm up way too early.......brain waves are REALLY whacked out...

Lelia, what do you think of this idea????????
