seems like sound techs have a couple of handicaps--
1. wrong concept.
2. hearing loss ; )

i saw something interesting last weekend. A jazz group played (piano,
guitar, reeds, bass, drums). all the instruments plugged into the
overall sound system EXCEPT the quitarist. so audience could watch reed
player all thru the show, but rarely hear.
