My father videotaped community orchestra concerts for several years. He
and i watched with intense interest various broadcasts of orchestra
concerts.

He was working with only one camera, and did not have a score of the
music, but still did a far better than average job of visually recording
the music. He is a musician, although he hasn't played for many years.

gee, maybe it is a lot like playing music. You have to know enough about
the music/medium to know what will help the audience and what will
detract.
