Subj: [kl] Flattening the Pitch
Date: Wed, 6 Oct 1999 17:12:50 -0400

I recently bought a Vandoren V13 mouthpiece because of problems I had
been having with sharpness playing on my Selmer C85 120. This has
really helped. The V13 feels similar to play than the C85 120 (at
least in the Profile 88 model - I didn't like a couple that I tried
previously with the "traditional" beak angle) and it has reduced my
pitch significantly. Now I might even have to buy some shorter
barrels to be ready when winter comes around again. Can anyone
suggest where I could find shorter barrels suitable for Leblanc L300s?
