I also like Peter Spriggs floating rail ligature,
very good response. I switch between these
two depending on the sound I'm after. The
Optimum appears to give lots of center and
good projection for big rooms, loud gigs.
I prefer the plate with rails perpendicular to the reed.
Spriggs gives me a sense of great response, control,
nice in studio, chamber work.
