A quick search at www.ithaca.edu brought no joy.
A search on www.altavista.com (advanced search, "James East" and clarinet)
brought back a hit with James East playing in the Fredonia Woodwind Quintet
(http://www.wbfo.buffalo.edu/programs/opuspast.html). From that I made a
wild guess and figured he was at SUNY Fredonia. I was right
(www.fredonia.edu).

Check the www.kent.edu Web site.

Check the Cleveland Yellow & White pages at www.ameritech.com

Now, that took me about 10 minutes, and you've pointers on how to find names
& numbers & email addresses (I leave the final email addresses & phone
numbers up to the interested reader). Searching like this also points you in
other interesting directions, just like reading the encyclopedia (one of my
favorite pastimes when I was young). James Burke is my current hero ... I
might have majored in history had I a professor like him ...
