Subj: [kl] Metal "Selmer Clarinet Mouthpiece" on eBay?

On eBay, the following item is being auctioned as "rare Selmer metal
clarinet mouthpiece". It looks as though it would fit into a clarinet
barrel, but certainly isn't a clarinet mouthpiece. Anyone have an idea
what this is? Just curious.
