Richard,

The item you called a "Tom Thumb"? Buffet made something similar, because
in the 80's while I was staioned in the ORlando and Great Lakes navy Bands,
I was issued a Buffet RC Prestige that had an adjustable thumb rest on it.
Surely there must be some way to simply order the thumb rests...then again,
maybe not.
