Could anybody on this list give me advice about how to make glissandi? I =
know of only two ways, both rather unsatisfactory. One is to lower or =
increase lippressure, it alters the tone, but only over short distances, =
about half a note. The other way is to slide your fingers over the keys, =
but it cannot be done when you have to change register.

There must be another way. I often visit klezmer concerti, and seldom =
see there any change in fingering or embouchure, yet glissandi over two =
octaves or more are made.
