Helena,
I hope this doesn't sound offputting but ONE MONTH?????? This
sounds definitely weird to me. Any audition to a music school is normally
prepared months in advance - not 30 days. I assume you have some pieces
already learned because there is no way anyone is going to learn a new
audition piece well enough in one month to be solid enough on it for such
a test. My advice to you is prepare anything you already know and prepare
it FABULOUSLY. Better that then a less-than-prepared "audition winner". As
for sight reading, many people use the volume by Pasqual Bona. Actually,
if you just practice reading through books of etudes such as Rose, etc.,
that should get your eyes and fingers up to snuff.
