Write to Aaron Hayden, I KNOW he will be happy to visit with you. He
studied at Hans Moennig's workbench. AND, if you meet a NICEr guy .. please
let me know. Seriously, he'll give you the shirt off his back and then some
... loves to talk clarinets.

AND, he knows that some of us will do business with him someday. Definitely
a guy you can talk too squarely; no games --- yet he picks up the phone,
rather than avoiding it.

Thats what sold me on Aaron. Heck he'd get a hoot out of conversing a
weitha Clarinetist "down under".
Hey, keep me advised as the project goes along --- I agree this is the
clarinet.

PS While hesitant ..... here is what I would say: Soak the clarinet in the
special vegetable oil FIRST, then undertake the refinishing .... better to
work with a NON-brittle surface.

BUT, that my "lay" opinion, ask Aaron.
