Dear friends:

I play in a community orchestra named the Skokie Valley Symphony. I just
moved up to principal, leaving the bass/eb/3rd/assistant first position open.

This is a very nice group, no pay, except for the obligatory ringers, many of
whom come from the Lyric Opera. We play in a VERY nice new hall, the Skokie
Valley Performing Arts Center.

We have a concert coming up Nov. 7, and need someone to play bass on the
Piston Symphony # 2. It's quite a challenging and active part, with several
exposed sections.
