avrahm galper posted a few weeks ago re Dukas' Sorcerer:

<<<Anyway, since the writer asked about 1 and 1 versus side Bb. My fingering
for this was: When one plays F on the staff (first finger of the Right hand)
and opens the G# key just above it, (still playing the F,) one can get a G.
Then the fingering for the first bar in that section is: High E, to D, top
Bb (with one and one) and then this combination G, Let go of the G# and play
the D below it.>>>

This has saved my keister. As it turns out. my orchestra passed the Dukas
out for our "Halloween" concert (it's the night we could get the hall . . .
why not?)

Has anyone put a bunch of these little helpers in a book for the less facile
of us? I'd buy one. Heck, I'd buy two and read it in stereo!

Muchas gracias, Senor Galper!!
