Jay:

I probably should have said MORE.

My teacher keeps me pretty busy. I practice as much as two hours everyday,
and certainly never less than an hour.

I have warm-ups, all major scales = 8th & 16th note intervals (with a
metronome) --- most thru three octaves, an Etude, and a piece we are working
on (or should I say DWELLING on) <grin>. Add to that Scales Studies and
"little additions" like Pinky keys in the Altissimo every now & then ..... I
could practice for 4 hours a day and still wouldn't be pleased with myself.

Every time I do something better, my Teacher is PLEASED and then she
institutes REFINEMENTS in technique, etc. As I need an infinite amount of
assistance, there is never a lack for correcting my play.

I enjoy this immensely, taking me away from a world as a CPA where things
are not nearly so creative. (I don't plan on giving up my day job ever).

David's "My Tempo Accompaniments" allow me to DREAM a bit. Of course, his
accompaniments have some competition, sometimes when I take a break I turn
on some Beethoven and conduct the 6th ! Thanks for your input.

Mark
