Nicholas: is air leaking out your lips around the mouthpiece or is
the problem that air is going into the mouthpiece, but not vibrating
(an "airy" sound)?

If the problem is the former (air leaking out around the
mouthpiece): I didn't solve that problem for myself until I
concentrated on my upper lip (making a better seal, being firmer...
I'm trying to think of good analogies and failing - a better seal is
how I visualized it when I was dealing with the problem). If I'm
physically tired (short on sleep etc...), the leak will return even
at the beginning of a practice session. I don't know if this will
help you any, but I did find that working on my upper lip relieved a
great deal of the stress on my lower lip and improved my tongueing
considerably (but that's another thread).
