How do you think consolidating the Philadelphia orchestra with the Chicago
would work out stylistically?
that means less jobs for those of us who are trying to get one-- and
they're not exactly plentiful as it is. that's also not helping out in
the area of trying to boost the acceptance of classical music for the next
(and current, for that matter) generation.
