Usually I run through all the major scales (and some of the minors) at least once, slowly,
listening for any unevenness in my playing. I then increase my
speed until I play them with Sixteenth notes at 120. Then I play
through the Chromatic scale from low E to the highest C. I also
start this slowly. I may spend some time moving through the throat
tones so I can make sure that I am making a smooth transition.
Then I will use either chromatics or major scales for tongue warm ups.
I do that kind of warm for Rehearsals and Concerts.

For practicing I usually go through the scales, thirds, and arpeggio exercises
in the Klose' book. I will do them with slurring or tonguing. If I don't feel like playing
long tones, than I play the first portion of the Copland Concerto, or the first etude
in the 18 Etudes for Clarinet by Paul JEANJEAN. Either one of those gives a good workout
in breath control.
