There is quite definitely a recording available. It is played by Michael
Collins with the London Sinfonietta with Adams conducting. It also has
John's Book of Alleged Dances played by the Kronos Quartet.

The CD is Nonesuch 79465-2

Get a copy of it. It is a great piece. I know the music is available on
rental, but not for purchase. I don't know the publisher, however. For
those in LA, there is going to be a live performance of it by Laura
Stevenson with the USC Contemporary Music Ensemble. The date is October 12,
1999 in Alfred Newman Hall. Laura is a fine clarinetist and I am sure she
will play the piece well. (She had the contemporary music fellowship at
Aspen this summer)
