I must admit I'm not having a stuffiness problem with my Buffet Prestige
Bass. I'm using a morgan D bass mouthpiece. I have a matson refaced selmer C*
that also works well. I also have a bundy bass that plays stuffy with that
same C* but not with the morgan. So you have to find the right combo to
eliminate the stuffiness. If a $500 bass would have played as nicely as the
Buffet, I would have saved $4800.
