I spent the money to have my YCL 220 overhauled - it plays like a
dream - the only drawback is that the tone is not as my pro
model - but for outside concerts and as a second instument it does
quite fine.
Mine was stuffy on A above the staff- when I got it back it was
fine. Give it a good clean and talk to a good repair man. They can
be made to play well.
