The bass clarinet is the Yamaha student model. It was sold to me as used,
but I think somewhat misrepresented because it was represented as having
been played very little when in fact it has obviously taken some significant
use. It does appear to need some new pads in a couple of places and the
register key is clearly out of adjustment - unfortunately I don't know how
to get it back into adjustment.

I think I'm going to try a better mouthpiece but also see if I can get it
worked on to get everything properly adjusted. I have played student model
bass clarinets that have played the upper register much better than this one
so I believe it can be fixed.
