Adding to what Gary says, I'd check directly with the institution. At the
college where I teach, "adjunct" has a specific meaning. I am the only
clarinet teacher, and am part-time faculty, as are most of the applied
teachers. Some of us are called "part-time instructors," while others are
called "adjunct instructors." The adjuncts have a heavier teaching load, but
still not enough to be full time. I refer to myself as an "instructor" on my
resume'.
