April,

I have played two pieces accompanied by Concert Band. The first (easier and
published) was "Capricious Aloysius" by Harold L Walters. I only have a
piano/conductor copy but it was published by Rubank inc. Miami, Florida
(Victor Band Series No. 449, copyright 1950). It's a fun piece to play with
a bluesy feel to it. Approx. 4-5 minutes.

The second (which was arranged on a commission for the band I was with at
the time - at my request) was the Artie Shaw "Concerto for Clarinet". While
I don't know of a published arrangement, and have lost touch with the
ensemble management, I'm sure someone _must_ have arranged it for Concert
Band. More demanding, but equally fun to play (until you reach the C''' on
the end - for the record, I didn't gliss up to it, it works almost as well
if you hit it clean from the G and is _far_ less risky!)

All the best with whatever you choose.

Ian
